GOLDEN GLOBES: Highlights (2016)

Advertisements

I have always loved both the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards because they highlight the excellent performances that I laugh and cry along with throughout the year. I unfortunately did not have a chance to watch the Globes this year due to the lack of cable in my current living situation #studentlife.

However, I was anxiously following along the live Twitter updates, as well as have scrolled through way too many websites to get my gorgeous gown fix before the Oscars on Sunday February 28th. Therefore, I have highlighted below my favourite winners (alongside a few past CCC posts about the winners), my Top 5 Best Dressed, and a couple of bonus features.

FAVOURITE WINNERS

Therefore, for a full list of ALL the winners and nominees from the 2016 Golden Globes, check out this link: http://www.goldenglobes.com/winners-nominees

BEST DRESSED

As most of you know, I LOVE awards shows not only because they praise those who are excellent at their craft, but also because I get to view stunning fashion displayed by these fine people. Therefore, the following five photos highlight that actresses who wore my favourite gowns from Sunday’s Golden Globes.

Laverne Cox – Elizabeth Kennedy Gown

Gina Rodriguez – Zac Posen Gown

Amy Adams – Versace Gown

Jenna Dewan-Tatum – Zuhair Murad Couture Gown

Jennifer Lawrence – Dior Gown
